BORDER WALL PROTEST

Yes it is true we are getting proactive. We went to UPTA, listen to the speakers and then we marched to the courthouse park chanting all the way. They then videotaped people comments about the wall that the government is building. Needles to say Ernie and I feel the wall is a waste of money and won't do any good only warn to the enviroment, wildlife, families and farmers. In the second picture you can see Ernie on the right.

GREAT PLACE TO RELAX

The police from around the area came for a picnic and that included having the mariche play while they ate. We enjoyed watching and listening. This is on my return list.

ANOTHER CROSSING OF THE TROPIC OF CANCER

This is on Hwy 54. Farther down te road is San Juan de Vanegas. This is a small community close to the turn off to Rio de Catorce. Beyond the arch way is a water park where we spent 2 nights. The spring water was at a refreshing tempature . The charge was 10 pesos per person each day.
