DOLORES HIDALGO

This town is the site Father Miguel Hidalgo launched the independence movement on 16th of Sept. 1810. We always enjoy visiting this town. Not many tourist come here. We went to the Museo de la Independencia . It charts the appalling decline in Nueva Espana 's indigenous population between 1519 (est. 25million) and 1605 (1 million), and identifies 23 indigenous rebellions before 1800.
