PATZCUARO LAKE

Isla Janitzio is a big tourist draw. Tere is 40 m statue of independence hero Jose Maria Morelos y Pavon. You can climb all the way up to the wrist for a panoramic view . The lake is brown water so we didn;t go out to the isla. I wish it really did have blue water. The boats that take the people out there are about 50 ft long and carry 50-60 people.
