Gorgeous Guanajuato is a UNESCO designate city which is crammed on the steep slopes of a ravines, with very narrow streets that disappear into tunnel which run into other tunnels. Needless to say we walked and took taxis. We actually Parked at the new Mega store and took a taxi into the historic central area. We did the same thing in Morila, Mich. This is a town I could send alot of time in. It is a university town besides being the state capital and alot of wonderful is to be tasted here.
This is the basilca on the Plaza de la Paz.
This is the Theatro Juarez which is very lavish and where some of the Cervantino performances are held. This is 3:30 in the afternoon and students, tourist and regular folks are just sitting on the steps taking a break. Maybe like me the alitude is wearing them out.
