JAYN O'GORMAN MURAL
This mural is in the Gertrudis Bocanegra Biblioteca. It is in a 16th century building. The former San Augstin church. The mural depicts the history of the Michoacan from pre-Hispanic times to the 1910 revolution. Gertrudis is a heroin who was shoot by the firing squad.
Another hero was Vasco De Quiroga. Who was kind to the indigenous people and pioneered village cooperatives based on the humanitarian ideas of Sir Thomas More's Utopia.
